Hi, nice to have you here!
I'm Denis Weitmann, a composer, music producer, and arranger from Baden-Württemberg, Germany. My work encompasses a wide range of musical, technical, and organizational tasks. My goal is to simplify complex projects by combining artistic creativity with reliability and clear communication.
My Music
Here's a playlist of songs I had the pleasure of producing.
Classical meets Pop One N
In my own artist project One N, a wide range of musical influences from pop and classical music come together.
Impressionistic orchestral sounds nestle against expressive electronics and carry stories told by devoted vocals.
Interactive Performance
"Do You? Like Me!"
For Magdalena Hofmann's interactive performance "Do You? Like Me!" at the PATHOS Theater in Munich, I designed the sound concept, created the sounds and music, and handled the live sound direction. The tension between body image and social media was explored from a gender-specific perspective in various scenes by performingatively examining movement material from beauty routines and social media trends, weaving them together into a cohesive dramaturgy. A specially developed app allowed the audience to interact, submit comments and ratings, and thus influence parts of the performance.
Multimedia exhibit
DREIKLANG360
The VR exhibit DREIKLANG360, which was on display at the Kunsthalle Mannheim from 2019 to 2023, was based on a concept I developed as part of a student project. Together with two fellow students, I wrote a composition that interpreted Rudolf Belling's sculpture "Dreiklang" (Triad). The chamber music performance and dance interpretation were the subject of the 360-degree video, which we filmed in the atrium of the Kunsthalle.
